Premium & billing
One CODMunity Premium subscription works on the website and in the app when both use the same CODMunity account. Most issues come from signing in with a different account.
What changed with CODMunity subscriptions?
CODMunity Premium is now shared across the CODMunity website and mobile app when you use the same authenticated CODMunity account.
Website Premium adds ad-free browsing on codmunity.gg. Active app Prestige or Prestige Ultra access can also be recognized on the website through the same CODMunity account.
Does one subscription work on both website and app?
Yes, one active CODMunity Premium, Prestige, or Prestige Ultra subscription can unlock access across the CODMunity website and mobile app when both are signed in to the same CODMunity account.
Use the same account and sign-in method. The same email text alone does not always prove it is the same account.
Do I need to buy twice?
No. Do not buy a second subscription just because Premium is missing on one device or platform.
First confirm the same CODMunity account is signed in, refresh subscription status, and try restore purchases in the app if the purchase came from Apple or Google.
Which benefits carry over, and are app and website features identical?
A website subscription gives you Prestige access in the CODMunity app when you sign in with the same CODMunity account. An active Prestige or Prestige Ultra app subscription also gives you ad-free access to the website.
Features can differ between the app and website. Check the plan details shown where you subscribe for the included benefits.
Does cross-platform access transfer billing?
No. Shared access does not move your billing provider, change your plan, or cancel another subscription.
Your subscription stays managed by the original purchase provider: CODMunity Web, Apple App Store, or Google Play.
I subscribed on the website. How do I use it in the app?
- Go to My subscription and confirm Premium is active.
- Open or update the CODMunity app.
- Sign in inside the app with the same CODMunity account and sign-in method used on the website.
- Close and reopen the app, then refresh the subscription area if needed.
If it still shows free, do not subscribe again. Check account matching first.
I subscribed in the app. How do I use it on the website?
- Open the CODMunity app and confirm Prestige or Prestige Ultra is active there.
- Check which CODMunity account and sign-in method is active in the app.
- Go to codmunity.gg/sign-in.
- Sign in to the website with that same CODMunity account and sign-in method.
- Open My subscription and use Refresh subscription if needed.
Quick checklist to confirm Premium works in both places
- You are signed in on both website and app.
- The CODMunity account is the same, including the sign-in method.
- The app shows Prestige or Prestige Ultra, or the website shows Premium.
- You opened My subscription and used Refresh subscription.
- You reopened the app or refreshed the website after signing in.
Can I use a new phone, another device, or change between iOS and Android?
Yes, as long as you sign in to the same CODMunity account. Your billing still remains with the original purchase provider.
If the purchase came from Apple or Google, restore from the app subscription, paywall, or settings area when available, using the original store account and the intended CODMunity account. This does not guarantee a billing transfer between stores.
Do I need to remain signed in?
Yes. Premium access is tied to your authenticated CODMunity account. If you sign out, the website or app may show the free experience until you sign back in.
Signing out does not cancel billing.
How do I know it is the same CODMunity account?
Compare the account or profile details shown inside CODMunity, not only the email text.
- Use the same sign-in method you originally used.
- Check your CODMunity username or profile details.
- Watch for Apple Hide My Email or different Google, Apple, and email-password profiles.
If the details differ, you may be in a second account.
Should I use Google, Apple, or email and password?
Use the original sign-in method for the CODMunity account that has the subscription. Do not create a new profile just to test another method.
If you used Apple, use Apple again. If you used Google, use Google again. If you used email and password, use that same login.
Is being signed into the Apple or Google store enough?
No. Your Apple App Store or Google Play login only manages the purchase. It is not the same as being signed in to your CODMunity account.
For shared access, the CODMunity website and app both need the same CODMunity account.
What if Apple Hide My Email was used?
Apple Hide My Email can create a private relay address. That address may not match the email you expect to see.
Sign in with the same Apple option you used originally, then compare the CODMunity profile details. If you are unsure which account owns the subscription, open a Help Hub ticket.
What if I accidentally created a second CODMunity account?
Do not buy again from the second account.
- Sign out.
- Sign back in with the original sign-in method.
- Check the CODMunity profile details and subscription status.
- If you cannot find the right account, send a support request with the purchase provider and account details.
Account merges or subscription moves are reviewed by support and are not automatic.
What if I bought in the app before signing into CODMunity?
Open the app and sign in to the CODMunity account you want to use. Then use Restore purchases from the app subscription, paywall, or settings area if it is available.
Use the original Apple or Google purchase account. If the app cannot connect the purchase to the intended CODMunity account, contact support before subscribing again.
I forgot my login or no longer have access. What next?
Use the original provider recovery options first: Apple, Google, or email-password recovery depending on how you created the CODMunity account.
If you still cannot access it, open a Help Hub ticket. Never send passwords, one-time codes, or full card numbers.
Premium works in app but website shows free
- Open the app and confirm Prestige or Prestige Ultra is active.
- Check the CODMunity account and sign-in method used in the app.
- Sign out of the website, then sign in at codmunity.gg/sign-in with the same CODMunity account.
- Open My subscription and use Refresh subscription.
If it still does not sync, open a support ticket before buying again.
Premium works on website but app shows free
- Open My subscription and confirm Premium is active.
- Update or reopen the CODMunity app.
- Sign in in the app with the same CODMunity account and sign-in method.
- Refresh the app subscription area if available.
Do not buy again until account matching has been checked.
How do I restore an App Store or Google Play purchase?
- Use the Apple ID or Google account that originally bought the app subscription.
- Open the CODMunity app subscription, paywall, or settings area.
- Use Restore purchases if it is available.
- Make sure you are also signed in to the intended CODMunity account.
Restore purchases helps the app find an Apple or Google purchase. It does not move billing to another store or guarantee account merging.
Can Restore purchases recover a website purchase?
No. Restore purchases is for Apple App Store or Google Play purchases inside the mobile app.
For a CODMunity Web purchase, sign in on the website with the same CODMunity account and open My subscription. Use Refresh subscription if needed.
I paid but access has not appeared
Subscription status refreshes when you log in, return to the subscription page, or use Refresh subscription. It is not guaranteed to appear instantly.
- Confirm the payment completed with the original provider.
- Confirm you are signed in to the same CODMunity account.
- Refresh subscription status.
- Restart the app or reload the website.
If access is still missing, contact support before subscribing again.
Why do I still see ads?
The website removes ads when CODMunity Premium is active on the same signed-in CODMunity account.
- Sign in at codmunity.gg/sign-in.
- Open My subscription and use Refresh subscription.
- Confirm you are using the same CODMunity account and sign-in method as the app or web purchase.
- Reload the page where ads are showing.
Existing website tools remain free. CODMunity Premium adds ad-free browsing on the website.
What does Subscription status unavailable mean?
It means CODMunity could not check your current subscription status at that moment. It does not automatically mean your subscription expired.
Try again, reload My subscription, sign out and back in, or check later. If it continues, send a support ticket with the provider and steps already tried.
Where do I manage my subscription?
Manage your subscription from the place where you originally subscribed. Billing stays with the original provider.
- CODMunity Web: go to My subscription while signed in.
- Apple App Store: manage it from your Apple account subscriptions.
- Google Play: manage it from your Google Play subscriptions.
The My subscription page can show Premium status, purchase provider, auto-renewal, renewal or end date when available, Refresh subscription, and a provider-specific manage option.
How do I cancel and what happens after cancel?
Cancel from the provider that manages your billing: CODMunity Web, Apple App Store, or Google Play.
After cancellation, you normally keep access until the end of the paid period shown by that provider. Cancelling stops future renewals, but it does not usually remove already-paid access immediately.
Does deleting the app or signing out cancel?
No. Deleting the app, signing out, or removing CODMunity from a device does not cancel billing.
You must cancel with the original purchase provider.
How do I check renewal date or auto-renewal?
Open My subscription while signed in. When available, it shows Premium status, purchase provider, auto-renewal, renewal date, or end date.
For Apple or Google purchases, also check the subscription area of the original store account.
How do I change payment method or resolve failed payment?
Update payment details with the provider that manages the subscription.
- CODMunity Web: use the management option on My subscription.
- Apple App Store: update payment in your Apple account.
- Google Play: update payment in your Google Play account.
After fixing payment, return to My subscription or reopen the app and refresh status.
Can I change my plan or move billing to a different store?
Use the options offered by the provider that currently manages your subscription. Cross-platform access does not automatically move billing between CODMunity Web, Apple App Store, and Google Play.
Avoid starting an overlapping subscription while another one is active. Check the current provider and contact support if you are unsure.
I have two subscriptions. What should I do?
Check each provider where you may have subscribed: CODMunity Web, Apple App Store, and Google Play.
- Identify which CODMunity account each subscription is connected to.
- Cancel any unwanted renewal with its provider.
- Open a Help Hub ticket with provider, plan, approximate date, and receipt or order reference.
Refunds are not automatic and depend on the provider policy.
How do I request a refund?
Request a refund through the appropriate purchase channel.
- CODMunity Web: For a website purchase, send a support request with your receipt or order reference.
- Apple App Store: Request an Apple refund.
- Google Play: Request a Google Play refund.
Use the Apple or Google account that made the purchase. Requests are reviewed under the applicable policy; approval is not guaranteed. Cancelling renewal does not itself request a refund.
I bought a yearly plan by mistake. What can I do?
Ask for a refund as soon as possible from the place that charged you:
- Apple App Store: reportaproblem.apple.com
- Google Play: Google Play refunds
- CODMunity website: send a subscription request with your receipt.
Apple and Google decide app refunds themselves. Then turn off auto-renewal so you are not charged again.
I cancelled my free trial but was still charged
A free trial has to be cancelled before it ends (Apple and Google recommend at least 24 hours before), with the store that started it. Deleting the app does not cancel it.
Check the cancellation date in your store subscriptions, then request a refund from that store.
Is paying on the CODMunity website safe?
Yes. Website payments are processed by Stripe. CODMunity never sees or stores your full card number.
What information should I include in a support ticket?
Include enough detail for us to find the right CODMunity account and purchase.
- CODMunity username or profile/account identifier.
- Purchase provider: CODMunity Web, Apple App Store, or Google Play.
- Plan name if visible, plus approximate purchase date.
- Receipt or order reference and a screenshot of the issue.
- App version, device, browser, and steps already tried.
Never send passwords, one-time codes, or full card numbers.
Can I move subscription to another CODMunity account?
Contact CODMunity support before trying to move a subscription to another account. Signing into a different account does not automatically transfer your subscription or merge the accounts. Include both CODMunity account identifiers and the original purchase provider so we can review your request.
Why do I have access without a paid subscription?
You may have complimentary CODMunity Premium access from CODMunity. Complimentary access has no recurring charge.
It does not cancel any existing paid subscription and does not guarantee every mobile perk. If you also have a paid plan, manage that plan with the original provider.
