Giveaways

Open the giveaway on codmunity.gg/giveaways or in the CODMunity app while it is live, and tap Join. You need to be signed in to a free CODMunity account. The same account works on the website and in the app.

Joining is free and you never need to buy anything to enter. Each giveaway shows its start and end time (in UTC), the prize and the number of winners. A giveaway marked "Coming soon" can't be joined yet: come back when its countdown reaches zero.

Everyone who joins starts with 1 entry. The giveaway's page shows which bonuses apply:

• Invite friends: +1 entry for each friend who joins with your invite link, up to the limit shown (usually 5). Copy your link from the giveaway's page after joining.
• X account: extra entries when your CODMunity profile has an X (Twitter) account. Add it to your profile before you join so it counts.
• Premium: CODMunity Premium members get their entries multiplied (see the next question).

More entries means a better chance, never a sure win. A friend only counts once they have joined the same giveaway with their own account. Invites between your own accounts are removed.

When a giveaway shows a Premium bonus, the entries of CODMunity Premium members are multiplied, usually ×2. The multiplier applies to all your entries, bonuses included: for example 1 entry + 3 invited friends = 4, and ×2 with Premium = 8.

Premium is checked when you join; if you go Premium later, the CODMunity app updates your entries the next time you open the giveaway. If Premium is not recognised, check that you are signed in with the same CODMunity account that holds your subscription (see the Premium & billing answers).

Premium is never required: anyone with a free account can join and win.

Winners are drawn automatically, a few minutes after the giveaway ends. The page shows "Drawing the winners" until then.

The draw is random, and each member's chance is proportional to their number of entries. A member can win only once per giveaway. Every draw is recorded with its random value and a fingerprint of the list of entries, so it can be checked afterwards. Entries made after the end are not counted.

There is nothing to claim. If you win, the giveaway's page and the app show "You won!" when you are signed in, and winners are listed on the page by their partly hidden username.

The organiser then contacts you by email, at the email address of your CODMunity account, to arrange the prize. Check your spam folder. Please answer within 14 days, otherwise another winner may be drawn in your place.

We will never ask for your password, a payment or your bank details. Messages or DMs that do are scams: don't answer them.

First check your spam and promotions folders, and that you are looking at the inbox of the email address of your CODMunity account (Google, Apple or email sign-in).

If you still have nothing a few days after the draw, send a support request with the giveaway's name and your CODMunity username. We will reply to the email you give in the form.

• You need a free CODMunity account and must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent's or guardian's permission, and we may ask for their written agreement before sending a prize.
• One person, one account. Entries from several accounts, fake accounts, bots or scripts are disqualified.
• A giveaway is void where local law prohibits or restricts it.
• Some prizes, such as game codes, may be limited to a platform or a region: check the giveaway's page before joining.

Open the giveaway's page on codmunity.gg or in the app while signed in. Once you have joined, it shows You're in, your number of entries in the draw, your invite link and how many friends joined with it.

You can tap Leave the giveaway at any time before it ends. Your entries are then removed from the draw.

We may change, extend, pause or cancel a giveaway if fraud, a technical problem or an event beyond our control prevents it from running fairly. Any change is shown on the giveaway's page, and a cancelled giveaway is marked Cancelled with no draw.

Joining is always free, so there is nothing to refund. If a prize becomes unavailable, it may be replaced by a prize of similar or greater value.

We use your CODMunity account ID, username and email address and, if you added one, your X handle. They are used only to count your entries, draw the winners and contact them. Only a partly hidden username is ever shown publicly, never an email address.

Email addresses and X handles stored for a giveaway are deleted 40 days after it ends. See the Privacy Policy for your rights.
